Maltese iGaming solutions developer, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) Incorporated, has announced that the online casino at MetalCasino.com now features a sportsbook after fully integrating the sports wagering service offered by its Core platform.

Headquartered in the Valetta suburb of St Julian’s, the innovator used an official Tuesday press release to declare that MetalCasino.com has been utilizing its Core platform since going live in August of 2007 but decided to ‘strengthen its relationship’ last year by inking a deal to add an online sportsbook to its extensive portfolio.

The Core platform from GiG Incorporated received the coveted ISO 27001:2013 certification in October while the developer detailed that the new online sportsbetting service from Metal Casino is now available to enjoy in Malta and United Kingdom-licensed jurisdictions.

GiG Inc launched the world’s first Core-based sports wagering service a full year ago via its in-house domain at Rizk.com and stated that the innovation has since ‘been sold externally to brands and as an omni-channel sportsbook solution.’ The firm’s Sports Director, Endre Nesset, moreover used the press release to proclaim that the fully-hosted sportsbetting advance ‘delivers a seamless betting experience’ while providing online casino operators with ‘all the building blocks’ necessary to run ‘a betting experience unique to its players and brand.’
